Better with the Bones

I enjoyed the roast, it had great flavor and was very tender. That said, the bone-in standing rib roast I had earlier this month was definitely better. It had better marbling and was more tender than this boneless roast. Had I not had the rib roast so recently this may have been a five star review.

Christmas Tradition

Christmas prime rib has been a family tradition for the past 6-7 years. Two years ago we started ordering from MR and have not been disappointed. Great prime rib and value, easily feeding 10 people with some leftovers. Preparation/cooking is also very easy, and highly recommend reverse sear method. We look forward to continuing this tradition with MR.

Very good but missing something

I bought this and cut it into 8 one inch rib eye steaks. And that was the issue. They were tasty but they were also far down on the rib and more like NY Strips. There also was not very much marbling as would be expected in a Wagyu cut of beef. The flavor was exceptional and when cooked and eaten as a strip they were exceptional. But I paid $250 for a prime rib roast and did not get it. Also expected more marbling and did not get it. I would rate the meat as a Prime cut easily. I would buy from them again as the shipping was awesome and great communication. Just wasn't what I expected.
