Disappointing

I already had purchased a pair of the Middle Bear sandals and they are possibly the best shoes I’ve ever worn. I wanted a similar experience but one that would pair well with work clothes, so I purchased these sandals. It wasn’t clear to me that they require use of a Velcro strap to stay on, and you have to cinch it securely or else the sandals will slip off in the back. I have adjusted and readjusted the straps over and over again to get a more secure fit, but unlike with the Middle Bear’s I adore, the fit will always be a bit lose. I wouldn’t recommend these. I also wish I had known I could wait for the re-release of the nice looking leather ones with tassels they just released. Oh well… I still love Luna’s but now know I should ideally try them before buying, which is tough.

I love everything about these sandals. They are so well made

Comfortable but noisy for running

I bought these for running (especially in the rain or heat). They’re generally pretty comfortable. But the toe of the sole has a lot of slop, flapping freely under the toes of my feet. This makes me nervous of tripping when I climb stairs. Also, while running, when the ball of my foot strikes the ground the front of the sole swings down and slaps the ground - on pavement, it’s really loud (think high heels on hardwood floor).
