Baby eels were delicious
We ate the angulas on sourdough bread crusts and then dipped the spongy sourdough innards in the olive oil, with a sprinkling of salt. This was a special food for a special occasion picnic. We hope to do it again next year.

The angula we're wonderful. I drained them from the oil they were packaged in because I've noticed with other brands if you heat them with the cayenne that can overpower their taste. Warmed them up in dinner Spanish olive oil instead and they were so good.
