Great smoke, poor presentation
My first impression was that the cans were very small for the price. Upon opening, I was disappointed with the condition of the herring and the way it was cut to fit in the can. First view showed the backbones and small shreds of fish. Actually, I was surprised at how great the flavor of the fish and the quality of the smokiness on the fish. Product tasted great, but I would say it's not presentable for serving other than right out of the can. I liked it, but not sure I would order more for the price. I'm used to herring filets that are intact and suitable for serving guest.

Much better than the previous herring I’ve tried.
It’s been a while since I have had herring, so forgot that it often canned bone in. Not only is this herring less salty but has much better flavor. I just have to remember to remove the backbone.
