I bought this ocarina because I had to play the ocarina solos from “For A Few Dollars More” for a film music concert with the orchestra of which I’m a member. The solo went up to the highest F on the ocarina. The Songbird allowed me to hit the super-high notes successfully! The ocarina is well-made and has a sweet tone. Delightful little tooter

The tutti has a gorgeous jade crackle finish that is more on the sky blueish side. The sound is bright and beautiful and most of the accidentals (sharps/flats) utilize the right middle finger instead of the ring finger.
