The Ocarina I received from STL is excellent. It is made from some extremely hard and very attractive wood. It sounds beautiful across the entire range and has no weak notes anywhere. In fact, I am going to buy a metal ocarina from STL. I have several wood and ceramic ocarinas and this one is by far the best one

My son has been asking for an ocarina for two years, but didn't have a clue where to get a good one. I saw an add for stl and checked reviews, and nabbed a wooden one for his birthday. He's been playing it every chance he gets. Worth it,, and it sounds nice.
