My First Ocarina

This is my first ever proper ocarina, and I could not be happier with my purchase. The ocarina itself is absolutely lovely to hold, and I love how I can feel the craftsmanship. The design is also very pretty and striking, and it has a satisfying weight to it that is not heavy or taxing on the wrist. I also personally find it to be pretty ergonomic and I like the dips around the holes that make it easier to maintain grip. Being an absolute beginner with the ocarina, I'm still learning the fundamentals, but the sound of the pastoral model is indeed very pleasant and sweet and I like the low breath pressure as it allows a beginner like me with no musical training to adjust my breath with relative ease. Shipping was simple and fairly fast; I waited about 10 business days for a cross-country ground shipment. Thank you guys so much for allowing me to live out a long time wish of mine. I'm very happy with my ocarina and would recommend both Songbird and the Pastoral model to friends!

Bought as a gift

Purchased as a gift for a friend, who reports that they love it. It plays beautifully with much better sound quality than the plastic ocarina they learned with, and is more comfortable to hold and cover the small holes.
