My version

My first ever PE pattern and wished of discovered them sooner. Try as I might, I couldn’t do the waistband in the way prescribed, so I cut the band again and used an alternate method. I’m rubbish at gathering, so I employed a method I’d seen elsewhere of gathering using elastic and I was very pleased with the results. The pattern was really easy and I’m really really pleased with the result. I’d love to make more but arthritis has put a (temporary I hope) stop to any sewing.
