Coastal | Woven Side Split Skirt PDF Sewing Pattern

Love, Love, Love the Coastal skirt! So Grateful for this pattern🙏🏼

So far, I’ve made at least 5 Coastal skirts, in linen! I’ve shortened the splits and done other slight variations. One of the things that I love the most about this pattern, are the beautiful, professional-looking mitred corners. They really elevate the skirt, and are the first feature that I show, when someone asks about the pattern. I’m looking forward to making more, possibly adding a side zip and non-stretch waistband, while keeping the beautiful mitred design.

Detailed instructions but some tricky sewing

The skirt is a nice shape & instructions are comprehensive. I didn’t like the splits - they are way too high so I had to adjust that. I also never do my hems until the garment is ready to be tried on so that I can adjust the length & that adjustment made it impossible for me to do the mitred corners (I have been sewing for over 50 years & I couldn’t make it work). Probably will not make it again.
