Perfect addition to the CP5 preamp

The cp5 preamp is a very clean and neutral preamp….add this to give it that slight warmth and character….and the color knob allows you to flavor to taste. It’s subtle but it’s there. Changes the character of how it sounds when you overdrive the pre too. Great color palette

Lovely transformer glue

Using the CTX (with the RED-25) in an out-of-the-box mix chain from DAW to DIYRE and back. The chain is "CTX → FA38 → 15IPS" providing a nice analog feel transformer weight + compression/tone + tape saturation. Highly recommend!
