Great module for lo-fi sounds
This module is a ton of fun. The combination of diode clipping and filtering gives a very cool lo-fi effect which works well on a lot of material. Pair it with the mic from an old analog telephone handset for wonderfully gritty, garbled vocals!

the guys at XQP are GODS!!!
this unit is amazing. a full lo fi phone sound - as real as I remember from ma bell. it is not subtle!! the dial takes you into the beautiful line distortion crunchiness we used to get.
this is far more than eq futz. it is compressed, squeezed, worked over into the perfect futz sound!!!!!

...Friends, the instructions made this so smooth and painless. I worried for nothing.
As for the sound? It's dope. My ears are used to the typical EQ shelves for a telephone effect - this is not that. I'm old enough to have grown up with dial up, this does harken back to those days.
It's fun, and useful.
And now I'm hooked on these
