loving it so far
I have only had limited opportunities to try this out - so far, only on electric guitar. The last time I used it, I had cranked the color all the way & loved that the best so far. Great addition to the palette,

Royal Blue
I managed to try the Royal Blues on a master recently and they managed to tuck in frequencies in an elegant and subtle way. I really like how they complement other colour modules and I've ended up with a chain of subtle flavour enhancements that all add a bit of special sauce to my sounds.
They are particularly useful on bass guitar DI I've found in tandem with the pentode and mass driver modules. It's a very thick sound and it adds a bit of juice to the otherwise clinical thin DI tone.

Royal Blue Colour Module
Audio sound treated through the Royal Blue Colour Module sometimes sits in the mix more naturally depending on what the sound is and what the contextual musical environment is. Bass-heavy sounds run through Royal Blue do loose low end which of course can be eq boosted before and/or especially after running through Royal Blue. Hitting the Royal Blue with sounds at very high gain produces very brittle saturation with rich 2nd and 3rd order harmonics. I am looking forward to using this on the right sound on the right part of the right song. Cool unit which is a fine addition to a sound treatment palette!
