What a fantastic kit! Some simple soldering and assembly are all that stands between you and the ribbon mic of your dreams. Well, that and a very reasonable purchase price. The finished product has a very premium feel, with super solid milled parts making up the body. The Assembly is pretty straight forward. From opening the box to a working assembled ribbon mic, it only took me about 40 minutes. When I receive the second kit, I’ll have it done in less than half that. How does it sound you ask? I built one in about 20 minutes and was so pleased with it I immediately ordered another after I ran it through it's paces Great for acoustic instruments and vocals. Yet to try them for room mics but know they will be great for that too!
