MATCHFIT 1/4" Relief Router Bit

I dig the bit, but one thought..

First off, nothing wrong in the slightest with this bit! Does what it’s supposed to and doesn’t well. I really dig these products. BUT…the only criticism I have, or maybe just a thought, is that I feel like this could be designed to also double as the plunge bit they also sell for their version of dog holes. It’s all feels a bit clunky with all the accessories sometimes, but I guess that’s the price of admission. Still recommend!

Overall, it was a good experience. The only problem I had was not pushing the router a little faster at times. It burned the wood. I thought the bit was getting dull but I just needed to push it a little harder. I did buy the Match Fit package and was very disappointed that the dovetail bit came in a 5/16" shaft. Unusable.
