Not that I have a huge collection to compare, but can say with certainty the quality, comfort and precision makes it worthy of the "buy once, cry once" woodworking creedo. The fact that Rob called me himself to let me know that I had purchased the wrong corresponding dovetail marking knife and helped me correct my order was icing on the cake... even if more-than-slightly discombobulating at 7 in the morning. 😂

Very Nice Saw

It was tough to get past the cost of this saw, but I'm glad I did. It really is a "cry once" tool. Once you get it into your hands, you realize just how well it is made, and how well the handle fits my hand, and well it performs. Although pricey, it is worth the money compared to the other "dovetail" saws I was trying to use. Now that I've been using it, I'm glad I stepped up and bought it.

Better Than My Lie Nielsen

I've been cutting dovetails with my Lie Nielsen saw for years. I am teaching my son to cut dovetails and ordered Rob's saw because he was having trouble starting the cuts. Amazing quality and actually liked it so much that I have switched to the Cosman saw as my go-to for hand cut dovetails.
