Perfection

I have four crosscut sleds of various sizes for different kinds of cuts. I installed the miter rail on each of them. Absolutely NO side wobble or shifting. I got perfect cuts today after the install.

Needs two more bearings

Negative. Having invented or co-invented a number of items I was ready to be happy with my purchase based on the sales pitch. I am 76 and have been a wood worker for 65 years. I have built a number of sleds and used material for the runners that are not affected by seasonal humidity and temperatures, i.e. I have profited from my mistakes. First of KM should include a track that works with their stop. The miter rail needs two more bearings. Once the first bearing on the rail passes out of the track there is quite a bit of slop. That is why I would recommend two more bearings mid point between the existing bearings to prevent what will happen every single time the first sled bearing passes out of the track of my Saw Stop table saw. So now I am forced to purchase another 8” miter rail to prevent what is happening now. Sort of throwing good money after bad. I will install the 8’’ rail in the parallel track to prevent, hopefully, the slop from happening. I would also recommend not suggesting additional items to the register when ordering a single or multiple items of choice. I received the miter rail with a countersink. I was not aware that I ordered a countersink. I invented a countersink. I have 3K of them in my shop. Items sort of pop up on the sale and it is easy to not recognize that they are being added to the purchase when you are in a hurry. My fault on that one.

Disappointed

Works good until it loosens up and you have to readjust it. Paying a premium to have it loosen up is very disappointing.
