SharpMate Plus - Chisels & Planes Sharpening System

Top quality sharpening kit

What stood out to me as soon as I unboxed the sharpening kit was the sheer quality of the product. As an aerospace engineer I can appreciate well made quality products and this is definitely one. Started by resharpening my chisels. Very easy to set up the stone and setting the angle is very simple with the supplied jig with 25 & 30 slopes. Checking with my digital angle finder they are spot on. The motion of the carriage on the tracks had zero play in it and is super smooth, no friction whatsoever and gives a very clean sharpened surface. The lines on the locking jig make it easy to create consistent strikes at 90 deg to the blade edge. Very pleased with this purchase and will be all I need for sharpening my chisels and planes from now on!

I ordered the deluxe kit and was very pleased with it once it arrived. The quality of the construction was impressive and the documentation was also well done. Overall, my first impression is that it has exceeded my expectations. I recommend this product for your workshop.

Easy to use, chisels are far easier to sharpen.

This system is very easy to use and it rehabed my old Stanley chisels very easily. The time saved and accuracy is worth the price.
