I have purchased numerous endmill bits before, Did some reasearch, looked at reviews and decided to purchase IDCs The Beast and immediately saw the difference, quiet (what i was looking for), fast smooth wood removal, very impressed with this bit, will purchase, and recommend this bit.

Gets Job Done

I use this bit as my go to for roughing out parts. I have a smaller SD101 and for rough cuts, you really need a bit like this or the machine may have difficulty. And cuts are still nice with this bit needing a small amount of sanding or finish cut with another bit.

Time saver

I had 7 house signs with the house number and last name to do. The beast removed the recessed area much quicker than my standard bit and I didn't push the speed up as fast as I could have because I'm only using a router. Where it really shined was the profile cut. It does leave loose fibers along the top edge, but they sand off easily. That's not surprising since it is a roughing bit. Definitely worth the investment. Because the bit was shipped in an envelope the M&M's got smashed, but were still a nice treat.
