wittPlate Trim Router Base

The product is nice and works as advertised. Unfortunately I had issues with shipping. The product was apparently outof stock when ordered but was not indicate in any way on the site or any kind of follow up after the order was placed. After a week of it not shipping I tried to cancel the order. I was contacted by support who informed me of the out of stock. They assured me that it wod ship that day if I chose not to cancel. I got a shipping notification later that day but they item was not received by the post office until 3 days later. So essentially what they did was print a lable to make it look like it had shipped but waited 3 more days to ship the item

I securely attached the wittPlate Trim Router Base to my DCW600 and tried it out on something that was fortunately not critical. I noticed some scratches on my wood. I discovered that the cause was the screws that attach the base plate sticking out a bit below the plate! The wittPlate is a bit thinner than the OEM base plate and the recess for the screw holes is not deep enough for the OEM screws. That is IMHO a terrible design oversight!

I like the product but would have been nice to have a page of written directions with it.
