Great but the shipping makes me uneasy

I really like these but the package says they're supposed to remain frozen. They arrive in the mail at ambient temp. I think they're fine and I do continue to buy them regardless, but some additional details would be nice. For example, should they go back in the freezer after arriving?

Great Taste

These are great! Perfect quick pre- or post-run snack, dessert, or even a late-night bite. I found them especially useful while traveling for races — an easy way to get in a higher-carb breakfast without much effort, and super convenient for fueling through airports and long travel days.

Bring back the old recipe plz!

Since Vafels started packaging them individually, they've changed somehow. As others have mentioned, they don't crisp up nicely in the toaster oven like they used to :/ Texture isn't nearly as pleasant. The birthday cake (protein) one is not really very tasty; it has that fake protein-y taste. Regardless, they're still a handy snack to have on hand after a workout (too dry to eat while running IMO).
