Goodtime Banjo Armrest

The bent bolts didn’t hold the armrest onto my older “Gumby” GOODTIME Banjo but the standard bolts fit perfectly. The unit had simple installation instructions. It definitely makes the banjo more comfortable to play.

Drum clamps

The ad for the armrest indicated it was for the goodtime banjo only (not for the Vega). My package only ihad Vega drum clamps included . The instructions said the provided clamps must be used, the resulting assembly rattled. I shared this with customer services, was asked to provide my banjo purchase date, pictures of the clamps and a picture of the banjo. Once provided the back and forth messaging ended. No results. The original clamps don’t fit right, and videos online clearly show many people with the same problem. Although one video indicated to use the “slightly” bent clamps but nothing near the Vega clamps. 1. Why was I sent Vega clamps when the add clearly said this purchase was not for the Vega? 2. Why do people on line have “slightly” bent clamps but all I got was Vega clamps and the 3rd degree from customer support? 3. Why haven’t the correct clamps been stuck in an envelope and sent to me?
