Disappointing germination for Giant Winter Spinach

Our Fall (early Oct) planting, in an unheated hoophouse and using the recommended conditions, was an almost total failure (as of this late Nov date) for this winter spinach. Portions of the packet are being kept for an early spring try but overall this variety did not come up to expectations.
