I installed it in the ground instead of attaching it to two raised beds. I placed my Adirondack chair under it and plan to grow vines over it to shade the chair. The trellis went together easily. My difficulty was with the ground anchors. As I was doing this myself I dug two trenches and intended to lower the arch into the trenches, push the ground anchors into the earth and then back fill the trenches. I couldn't tighten the anchors enough to hold them in place. As I tried to set the trellis in place the anchors slipped. I eventually managed to get everything situated but felt it was ridiculously complicated. Vego needs to rethink this design.

Seriously heavy duty

This trellis was what I settled on when looking for something to grow pumpkins on. It was relatively easy to put together if not time consuming. I can tell its going to last as a permanent structure in my garden for years to come!
