Mixed Feelings...
I live in the Seattle area, so this seed mix is not ideal for my climate/soil. But I wanted to try growing it for my adopted desert tortoises. I tried seeding in two different places two months ago: a pot with rich soil and a bare patch in my meadow. The seedlings in the pot started germinating very quickly, within days. Most are primrose and are currently about 8 inches tall. There are a couple other species coming up now but they're maybe about an inch tall.
Only primrose geminated in the meadow and are not even an inch tall. They obviously did not do as well as the potted seeds. I have a very hard time growing anything in my meadow, as underneath the soil is a thick layer of black asphalt, which I thought desert plants would adapt well to. But maybe not.
Once the potted seedlings are more mature, I plan to transplant them into the meadow. Fingers crossed they'll survive!

My go-to beverage after quitting coffee
This is a well-crafted herbal and cocoa mix that works really well as a coffee substitute. Tastes great too!

Tortoise mix
This is the 3rd time I've purchased this mix and have carefully planted it and watered it and NOTHING EVER grew! So disappointed because I have been trying to get some kind of native plants in the tortoise yard.
