Pollinators and Beneficials Galore
These sunflowers had excellent pollination with great mixed characteristics. Sunflowers always bring in the native bees and honeybees, but these were extra busy with life. There was a mix of assassin bugs I haven't seen before as well. I got several heads ( black, white, and grey ) with deep nodding characteristics. This really helped with bird pressure. About half of the heads didn't nod ( mostly grey stripe ), and I was happy to feed the birds from these. Most of the seeds are going back in the ground but good eating quality as well.

Strong sunflower, lots of bees
5/5 seeds I planted germinated. The bees love them. Two ended up being just over 8 feet tall.

Massive Sunflowers!
I planted two bags of this mix in two garden beds and they’ve germinated and grew great. I’ve been consistent with watering and they’ve grown quite a bit. I’m up in the mountains of southern AZ so I planted later than if I were in the low desert. Can’t wait for the flowers. Thanks NSS!
