Hero Noodles Penne

Penne to the Rescue

I sent these, and other Hero food items, to my daughter as a housewarming gift. She likes to cut carbs whenever possible and loves the penne and elbow macaroni (which neither of us can find in our grocery stores). We are both fans of Hero and you can substitute Hero penne pasta for any carb-loaded pasta and no one will know the difference!

Hero Penne Noodles

Need extra seasoning. Bland but with my cooking talents they turned out great. I used Italian Salad Dressing to give a boost of flavor; boiled noodles with Penzeys Mural of Flavor and black pepper. Another time instead of the dressing I added Silver Palate spaghetti sauce low sodium Manara (sp) Sauce

Perfect Penne Pasta

This is a godsend for anyone who loves pasta and needs to keep carbs down. Before Hero came along, I experimented with lower carb pasta options made from Chickpeas and made from Lentils. They had a slightly off-taste and still had carbs in the 20g to 30g range. Hero’s Penne pasta tasted great all while having a ridiculously low net carb of 5g. Thank you, Hero!
