I like my Current G2 grill

I am very pleased with my recently acquired G2. Here are some of the reasons I bought the Current. The Current has a large cooking surface, duel temperature controls, built in timer and temperature probes (up to 4), connects with your phone via Bluetooth and probably most of all, the Current recommends a 15 amp circuit and the Weber requires a 20 amp circuit. Therefore fewer blown fuses. I have been doing a reverse sear procedure and am happy with how quickly the temperature reaches sear level.

Got this grill for my husband. We have a terrace in NYC and crave bbq. Previously had a Weber electric and thrilled with how this performs and feels in comparison. Our first grilling was ribeye steaks and they came out great. We used the meat thermometers attached to the grill. Just another level for electric grilling.

General Review

I just assembled my grill on Saturday and used it for the first time on Sunday. The packaging and the product quality are excelent. The assembly process was fine, but there are some things that can be improved in the manual. For example, naming some pieces, and some little better graphics would be a plus and will make easier the assembly for an unexperience person to get the assembly done. I don't mean the graphics are not good, but some angles could be better, and some extra hints also. I like building things and I get well using tools, but I know many people that for sure will get confused by some of the instructions. it's not that it's bad, but I think there is room for some improvement. I'm saying this comparing all the things I have built in my life following instructions. In general, the design is fantastic and very easy to build. It feels good. I had a problem with one of the heating elements (I still have it, but we are working on it), and I got excellent product support, by email, and by phone. That is a huge thing. Getting good support. The app also have some problems, but that is secondary. The performance of the grill was awesome. I love the folding side tables, even when they are not really folding, but they are great. And I love that the grills are 4 separate pieces. The process of taking everything apart is very good. I love the grilling area, its much bigger that my previous electric grill (I have to stick with electric because I live in an apartment). I have used it just one time, but I like it a lot already.
