Excellent Electric Grill with a Couple of Minor Drawbacks
I've been very happy with this grill overall. It looks fantastic on the patio, feels premium, and is incredibly easy to use. The controls are intuitive, and I love that it can reach temperatures up to 700°F, which gives it much more versatility than most electric grills. I do have two criticisms. First, considering the price, I expected the cart/frame to feel a little more solid. The base has a bit of wobble around the legs and frame, which isn't what I'd expect from a grill in this price range. Second, while the grill gets impressively hot, it takes some patience to get there. Reaching around 500°F for a good steak sear can take 20–30 minutes or more, so you'll want to plan ahead. Those issues haven't been enough to outweigh the positives for me. Once it's up to temperature, it cooks exceptionally well, and the convenience of electric grilling without propane is a huge plus. If Current can improve the sturdiness of the cart and reduce preheat time in future versions, this would easily be a near-perfect grill.

My brand new Current G+ Electric Rill
I live in a Condo that prohibits Charcoal and Gas Grills. Because I love to grill, I researched all of the Electric Grills on the market. I settled on the Current G+ because it had the best reviews. And I made the right decision. The Current G+ Grill is a solidly built, quality grill. I love the ability to have different temperatures on each side; and being able to use temperature probes to make sure that food is perfectly cooked. Two things that I’m not thrilled with. It takes a long time for the grill to get up to temperature; especially if I want high heat to sear. More importantly, any time I open the lid to flip, baste , etc, regardless of how quickly I do it, the temperature drops significantly. Neither of these are deal breakers and I’m sure I’ll figure out how to deal with each. Beyond those two issues, I’m happy I made the decision to buy the Current Grill.

Close but not quite
We grill multiple times a week and were forced to give up a natural gas grill because insurance for our condo complex was cost prohibitive (not uncommon) but cooking with electric is just not the same. After extensive research, we felt like this grill best suited our needs. Has the capacity to run on a 15 amp circuit and will heat to 600+ degrees for searing meat. Take a while but eventually gets there. We had a few questions and hiccups along the way of getting set up but the customer service has been quite good. They are eager to help and eager to please. Like cooking with an electric stove, turning the temp down does not yield a quick drop in temperature. The process of cooking with electric will just take time. I miss the smoking and flame effect of a gas grill but this grill is probably as close as it comes.
