The Versa Hook Pro works perfectly. It takes far less time than securing the bar with resistance bands and also provides confidence the bar is secure. Verify the J-Hooks available at your gym are compliant with the Versa Hook. I had an "Oh no!" moment when the Versa Hook didn't work with the J-Hooks on the rack I was at, but fortunately the rack next to me had different ones that worked!
