This is an EVAPORATIVE cooler. Be aware if you live in a humid climate this will not make a drastic difference. For a dry heat it can help in a small room. When the temperature goes over 100 it will lower the temp a max of 20, and that's only if you're lucky.

The reviews must be false or paid buyers. This system does not work. It doesn’t blow out cool air. The water does not stay cool even after the ice packs have melted. You can barely feel the air unless you’re right next to it. It basically feels like a hand held fan. My metal industrial fan works much better than this system. I will be returning.

This is useless. I have it in a very small room and it makes no appreciable difference whatsoever. Standing directly in front of it, the air is not cold. Do yourself a favor and buy a $15 fan from Walmart. It'll do just as much as this piece of junk.
