Kaleido M1 LITE 200g Coffee Roaster (Artisan System) - Black

So I've only done 5 roasts on this and overall I'm really enjoying the experience. Like many others I've had connectivity issues using it with my MacBook Pro and Artisan, but I've since switched over to HiBean and it's been much smoother (I actually appreciate HiBean's user friendly interface). The roaster works great, but the rubber connectors that hold the black shell of the machine have all popped out, and they are difficult to reinsert- I'm going to replace them with some other type of connector soon. Shipping from Kaleido roasters USA was supper fast, and everything came in great shape. I got this roaster to replace my old Gene Cafe tank (15 years of roasting), and the control and roast quality on the Kaleido are so much better when compared to the gene. My coffee has already shown improvement, making me think I should have done this switch sooner.

Works great, has a modest learning curve (as a professional roaster) but produces good results and look forward to getting better with it! Good value and a home run for my shop sampling needs!

Great home roaster that works very well with artisan software. This a professional grade roaster for home use or testing coffee. However, it comes with a USB to USB cable to connect to a computer. You must use this cable (other data cables are not compatible), and modern computers haven’t had regular USB inputs for 8 years! So it wouldn’t work on any of my computers. The only fix is a data converter from USB to USB-C… but still have to use the cable it comes with. It would be nice if it came with Bluetooth or a USB-C cable to allow compatibility with all modern computers.
