Fantastic!
We got the Purobot Max 3 two weeks ago for our two kitties and it has been a total game changer! Set up was simple and my kitties took to it almost immediately (for reference, my kitties are almost three years old). Everything is working as it should and the app has been great. It’s the first automatic cat litter box we’ve ever owned and we couldn’t be happier!

Loving it so far!
I love everything about this machine! It has work perfectly as described and has been worth every penny so far. My only qualms are (maybe I just haven’t learned the trick yet) it’s difficult to know how much litter to dump in initially or when changing completely because the max line isn’t visible until the machine moves out of ‘maintenance mode’ so I sometimes have to scoop out extra litter. The other thing I didn’t realize is that there is a cloth like liner in the very bottom of the litter area. This hasn’t been an issue yet, but I am skeptical it may get soiled due to its material. However, I am not deterred! My sweet kitty boy has had no issue adjusting to it. He was in it before I even had it fully set up and did not look back at his old standard litter box once this was one operational. I love this thing, the app has been great! It’s working well for my single kitty. I have been recommending it to my feline owning friends!

Still on the fence
First, I have to say that there is a pretty steep learning curve on PBM3; both for me at almost 84 years of age and for the two cats one of which is 70% feral. It took almost 10 days for me to outsmart the cats and make them think the new box wasn't going to kill them. I had to turn off all the lights and all the automatic features and Spike the litter with odor attraction and finally rip the Band-Aid off and take the old box outside. I was pretty nervous until the cats both finally used it. It was nice that the bot let me know that the cat said used it when how long etc etc and how much they weighed. Pretty cool! During the experimentation exercises I hit a snag where the door to the litter disposal box was not functioning properly. It was hanging up in about a 45 ° open position and would stop the cleaning cycle or letter removal during the maintenance cycle. After a long series of trouble shooting exercises with suggestions from various AI sources I finally had to remove the drum and none of the things that the AI had told me about what I would find we're correct so I could not do any of the suggested inspections so I finally just push the arm down all the way to the floor and then brought it back to it's position and try the maintenance cycle One More Time and it worked. Given the two year warranty I'll go with that fix for now apparently was just assembled somehow in the wrong sequence for that particular phase of the mechanics. I am still running straight manual cleaning once a day which seems to be working well and adding a bit more later and more of the odor attraction at each cleaning and the cats seem to be getting more at ease with the litter robot but I will proceed cautiously on the manual cycle for now. It is very nice just to be able to push a button and have the cleaning done and the nasties deposited out of sight already in the disposal bag. The only other issue I've had is that after I run the clean I run the maintenance cycle should be able to add a bit more litter easily and several times now it thinks there's a cat approaching the Box and will not run the maintenance cycle and there seems to be no way to reset it other than unplug the unit. During the investigation process, I did note the construction and engineering of the unit seems to be quite sound and I'm happy with the sturdiness of the unit. The only other thing I've done during the Fraidy Cat break in is to remove both odor masking devices to eliminate another strange Factor. Without the door hang up issue probably would have given four stars and if things continue to work well it might be a five star item.
