Completely new to Pour-Over and light/medium coffee roasts. What a revelation it has been seeing how the notes of fruit "shine through" and how water temperature can influence the density of a brew. Looking forward to delving into the world of coffee roasters, learning how to play with ratios, water temperature and grind size to extract the indicated flavour profiles. As someone who is not a usual coffee drinker, this way of brewing allows for max flexibility in discovering new flavours. Sure, it will take a few tries getting used to steps: folding a rather large paper filter, boiling the water to a specified temperature, pouring it in a certain manner, setting a timer- but honestly, when you taste the coffee, it's totally worth it. Easy clean up is a plus as is a plastic free brewing experience. So far, the Chemex is a 5 star experience as is Cafeuné's knowledgeable and welcoming staff. Thank you again!
