I grew up on a farm and my mom made pie crust and all kinds of food with their lard. Your tallow tastes and smells just like what I remember (brings back memories). I use it for cooking meats, eggs, and mix with sliced potatoes then top with garlic salt before baking; - delicious! I can lick it right off the spoon!
