San Juan Tsile chiles doing well in San Diego
I thank the farmers who have made this variety of chile available to the rest of us. This is my first season growing them. They have sprouted well and are growing robustly both in containers and in the ground. I don't know yet how productive they will be but it's a good start to the season.

Great germination so far- have yet to get big enough for blooms and peppers

So far so good... I live in Montana, so I started my seeds indoors 4 weeks ago... I am impressed with an approximate 90% germination rate!!! Still have another month and a half until last frost date, then they will be transplanted into the garden...
