I do not have a Squat Rack. Nor do I have the space to get one. This APEX Dip bar attachment custom suits my situation very well. If fits on the REP Fitness Blackwing bench I already own. No modifications were necessary. Still, I drilled a 3/8 inch hole on the left side of the APEX DIP post. Because otherwise, there was no way to engage the REP locking pin. That is the screw-in-pin that engages and locks all attachments to a Rep Blackwing bench. When using the APEX recommended, 75 degrees backpad angle. Gravity alone would have secured this APEX DIP attachment to my REP Blackwing attachment port. But, with a drilled 3/8 inch hole, it felt even more secured using the locking-pin.
It probably would fit much better on the APEX Adjustable Bench. But for a bench attachment, the APEX DIP attachment is super stable on the bench I already own.
At 6 feet tall, I had no need for the included step-up to begin my dip exercises. If you use this Dip attachment on a REP Blackwing and are shorter than me. You might want something like a yoga block to step up with. I really enjoy this attachment. This is a great investment to me. Super Stable, a nice moderate knurling grip in my hands. The "V" angle is great for my shoulders. As straight angled dip handles, hurt my shoulders.
With this attachment. I get much more use of the equipment I already own.
I recommend highly this product if you do not have a Squat rack. If you have a Squat rack. The Dip attachments available already for a rack, are superior.

The dip station feels solid, and is really comfortable to use. As it's a little tall for me I find the foot pedestal helps get into position well. Only improvement I'd see is making the pedestal a bit wider so it's easier to get a foot (or even both) on as you get your hands in position or finish a set.

This bench absolutely lives up to the hype. Assembly was very easy with clear instructions. The bench is well made, solid and it's brilliantly thought out. The attachments change out quickly and fit firmly in place. I've been able to use the bench with free weights, body weights (dips & leg raises) as well as with my oxefit (magnetic resistance) for a variety of exercises. Can't wait for the leg attachment to show up. If you're working with limited space, I strongly recommend it.
