Best multi use machine I’ve used yet.

For a multi-purpose machine, this is a solid piece of equipment. The build quality is good, and it feels sturdy. I own a few REP Fitness pieces, and this is fairly comparable in overall quality. Where it falls a bit short is the engineering. In certain positions, the handles can contact each other, and when your hands are in the ideal grip position, they’re so close together that it’s difficult to get in and out comfortably. I found it works best when gripping the rotating portion of the handles rather than the fixed section. Overall, it’s a versatile machine with good build quality, but there are a few design refinements that would make it much more user-friendly. Assembly was straight forward.

Hit or Miss Tolerances on the Rotation Handles

I'm loving the GMWD V8 4 in 1, but I am experiencing extremely loose tolerances on the rotation handles. What I found is the left handle (B1 Handle Frame Left Rotation Handle) pop pin appears to be sliding into wider diameter holes or the pop pin is not making full contact with all 12 positions causing extreme loosness and wiggle left and right. The other handle pop pin slides into tighter holes making a firm connection. The wiggle is very noticeable during the movements and is an annoyance. Who knows, it could also be a defective pop pin.

Best shoulder/cheat machine available for the money

As a competitive bodybuilder, I have worked out on many machines, different makes throughout the country. For the money you can’t beat this machine. The quality of the paint is beautiful and the functionality is great. Why because the arms converge and the level of contraction you get is unreal. Also on many machines I could load 4-5 plates per side, on this three feels like 5. I do wish there were finer micro adjustments up and down to dial in that perfect starting position rather than just a pin, more of a gear that goes up and down with teeth. Also you can use this without the bench. So if you want more space if you have one on wheels you don’t need the one that comes with it. But I wish they could make it to fold up out of the way if you have to have it. A pivot hinge on the front of the rail and up it goes. Nonetheless for the money, it’s definitely a great piece to add and certainly won’t regret.
