Applied throughout house - wonderful results

We used Rubio Monocoat on our remodel - faux Craftsman style home. Natural for flooring and cabinetry. Chocolate for ceiling beams, stair railings, and living room cabinets. The results have been excellent. Application and use it works as advertised and we are thrilled with the results.

Depends on the definition of Monocoat!

The Monocoat may mean 3 single coats to get the results you want. 1 coat of Pre Aging 1 coat of Oil + 2C (2 different colors mixed here) 1 coat of Universal Maintenance Oil (to bring up the sheen a bit) The good news is, it produces fantastic results! When you want what you want, Rubio has the options to get you there.

On walnut

Shockingly expensive. Required 2 coats on well prepped walnut 250sq ft. All literature said one coat only. But even their tech team conceded 2nd cost needed after maroon scotchbrite (buy online before you need to hunt those pads down). It looks good. But you'll buy more than you need since a little goes a long way. Probably wasn't worth the stress vs traditional stresses.
