Excellent tool for forearms AND rotator cuff

Great, great tool. I have been training pronation, supination, radial deviation, and ulnar deviation before with other methods, but the Grip Globe is definitely now my favorite. The even resistance curve feels much nicer and allows for the complete ROM to be trained effectively all at once. Switching between exercises is also fast with a loading pin. I realized that, with a straight arm and some elbow support, I could also train shoulder external and internal rotation, so this is now also easily my favorite rotator cuff training method

They get the job done. I got these as I recently sold a Nautilus Super Forearms machine, or actually traded it for a Nautilus Freedom machine (functional trainer)…. I use this with small weight plates…. It does require a bit more motor control than the super forearms but is also more flexible for different size clients.

I’m a cerified hand therapist. Using this to strengthen my supinator mm, biceps brachii mm, pronator teres mm, and pronator quadratus mm. This could also be a useful tool for rehab patients, but the low edges is a huge risk factor. Pros: Light, comfortable plastic knurling handles. Edges are smoothed out. Sturdy, high quality rope with thick carabiner. Con: the edges need to be higher, or the rope easily rolls off the tube track causing an unexpected sudden drop and shift in weight, which can hurt the the wrist(s). It can hold about 6 lbs without trouble. Even as a certified hand therapist with no cognitive impairment to operate this, the unexpected weight drop from the rope coming off the tube track which is annoying. I compared it to ZwainStudios, an Etsy seller, and even that has low edges problem. I would buy Globe Grip 2.0 based on cost and design.
