Pleasantly Surprised

I was a little skeptical about the Globos being 3D printed (at least I think they are), but I was pleasantly surprised at how solid they feel. It helps a lot to use some chalk, but I use chalk with the steel globes I have as well, and the Globos end up being more grippy than powder coated steel. They rolled on me a little at first, but I added a steel washer between the Globos and the plastic washer they come with and that solved the problem. The Darko nuts are a little small and hard to really tighten them down enough, so I used some others I already had from Stray Dog lying around. The Darko nuts are fine in general, but the size and shape make them hard to really crank down to keep the Globos from spinning - for other things they work great. Once I got all that squared away, I used both the bar portion and the globes for wide grip pull ups which place a lot of rotational force on them and they didn't budge at all.

I bought this for my Beyond Power Mini Rack with Lat extension. Darko was able to make one exactly to my specifications. Turned out perfect. I will definitely keep shopping here.
