beautiful firm filets of mackerel packed neatly in a lovely sauce. goes well with rice or crusty bread, don't waste any of that nice sauce!

My first ABC+ can and I'm hooked.

This is the first ABC+ can my husband and I have tried so far ... and shocking to no one at all, we cannot wait to try the other varieties I was able to grab during the incredible Black Friday deal. Holy cow does this can have incredible depth. Not overwhelming "tomato-y" or acidic - flavorful but easy to pair with other flavors. Ate straight from the can and joined with a grazing platter heavy on fruit, fresh basil, wasa crackers, pita and hummus. Would absolutely tried warmed up with crispy shallots on rice (fried egg appropriate). Or maybe on some crispy sourdough with some freshly grated cheese? Endless possibilities considering its in sauce, which oftentimes seems to divide the community. Try it. Just lovely!!
