Black cod cheeks, smoked like we mean it, packed in cultured butter from Fantello Farmstead Creamery in Enumclaw, Washington. Tender, yielding, absurdly rich. The butter costs more per pound than the fish, and we'd do it again without blink...

Devine and Decadent
Oh, the tinned fish afficianodos will be DELIGHTED with this selection. Living on the TX Gulf Coast, cheek meat (primatily snapper throats) are a delicacy and these SWEET CHEETS do not disappoint. Glad I bought two cans and I see others are sharing my affections!

Best tinned fish my mother & I have EVER eaten
So my mother and I are both french-american and already have a deep love of tinned fish in general. But I decided to get this at a mother's day gift for her and HOLY CANOLI it is BY FAR the best tinned fish, and dare I say, some of the best fish in general we've ever had. I served it on some toasted baguettes and spread it on tome and it was absolutely decadent. Well worth the price because the experience is unlike anything else. I highly recommend them and will definitely be buying again as soon as they are available. But if you're looking to get some, I'd definitely get on the waitlist, because these deserve ALL the hype they've been getting and are very popular.

Arrived quickly and packaged well. I bought these as a gift for my husband and he seemed to really enjoy his first foray into experiencing a more decadent tinned fish. While I am not big on seafood myself, mostly due to the fishy smell, I have to say these were quite pleasant. They did smell like fish but it was savory, meaty and delicious, especially paired with cultured butter. My husband said the fish had an excellent smokiness to them as well.
We will definitely be checking out more of Wildfish Cannery's products. If you want the opportunity to try a buttery fish tin but can't import from Portugal or Spain, these are a really excellent segue, seeing as they are local to Alaska.
Highly recommend!
