So Glad I Bought This Reed

This is the first time I bought the Legere Classic Bb clarinet Reed for my high school Granddaughter who plays in multiple bands. These reeds were highly recommended by her Band Director. My Granddaughter absolutely loves the high-quality of this reed and the amazing tone.

Pleasant surprise

After years of not playing, I didn’t want to fuss with the search for useable reeds. I tried one of your reeds and was pleasantly surprised by the easy response and nice big tone. This will be my choice for this late in life return to regular playing.

Better than I expected!

I had my doubts about going to a plastic reed, but a coworker of mine swears by these and he is a professional clarinetist, so I trust his opinion! I teach band at three schools and bought this reed for Italy durability. I love that it came in a case so I can put it in my teaching bag and head to the next school without worrying about losing it, breaking it. I love it comes out of the case ready to play. I wish my students could each get one! The sound is comparable to a bamboo reed. I don't see much of a difference in sound. I admit as a beginner/primarily string player, the plastic reed is easier to set up and get a sound from immediately without the adjusting and soaking.
