CCA Hydro

Good choice!

The CCA Hydro earbuds offer amazing quality for the price! These are the best earphones I’ve had so far. I’ve been enjoying music as if I had brand new ears :) The sound is spacious, with clean frequencies and well-separated instruments. I’ve even started listening to genres I hadn’t explored before. The 4-band equalizer is a great help for fine-tuning the highs and lows, adding flexibility to adjust the sound according to personal preference. If you like strong bass, just add +2dB to the lows. If you prefer more treble, add +2dB to the highs. I personally use the 1010 setting. I’m very satisfied with the purchase and would recommend these to anyone whose ears can accommodate these relatively large units. I have big ears and have had no problems, but unfortunately they don’t fit my wife’s ears.

Very Resolving

Excellent bass and clear non-siblant treble. Brings on the best in music using proper instuments, clearly identifying detail and position. Not the widest of sounstages but at this price does a good job.

Every sound right where you need it!

Big fan of CCA when it comes to their ability to squeeze a ton of drivers into a shell and make it sound fantastic. If you have ever listened to the CCA C16's which are renowned as being almost perfectly neutral, you will love these-- a bit more low end thanks to the dual dynamic drivers, and all the mid range/high detail you could ever ask for. Run them with all 4 of the dip switches in the OFF position and you won't be disappointed. If only CCA would bring back the C16's, though....
