Love these headphones sound is amazing. I’ve had Stax 009 and I prefer EH-1 as there more bass presence and higher volume over the Stax. Also big difference in price. These are a bargain at there price. You find them hard to beat.

Unbelievably good sounding electrostatic headphones and energiser for the price. Pleasantly light weight, but I have some concerns regarding possible fragility, although have not actually had any problems yet. I did upgrade the 12v power supply, with a perceptible improvement in sound. These phones stand up well against others costing many times as much.
