Love this Pickerel!
I order the pickerel filet’s in every order. The fish tastes so fresh, it cooks beautifully, and is so flaky. When unthawed there is absolutely no fishy smell. I generally just pat it down firmly with paper towel to remove the excess water, lightly season snd either pan fry or baked in the oven.

Great with butter and olive oil with some slices of lemon and sprigs of fresh parsley, S&P, wrapped in foil and tossed on the BBQ for 15 min.

The best
Personally I am not a big fan of freshwater fish, but this wild Pickerel is delicious. Simple to prepare, whether fried or baked. I especially love that we have had no bones in the filet after 3 servings so far,
