Phosphorescent Lensatic Compass 27 - Olive Drab

When the Compass arrived i couldn't wait to get out in the Bush to try it out. The Compass performed Brilliantly. I love the straight edge on the Compass which makes it easier to use on the Map. It is a Beautifully made instrument and made to withstand harsh conditions and will last a lifetime. I have used other Compasses over the years and the Cammenga lensatic compass in my opinion would have to be the Best Compass in the World👍

This compass is very practical in the field. I appreciate its robustness and the inductively damped needle. However, it arrived with a frosted spot right in the center of the lens, which I think was caused by a lens mounting tool. Given the shipping costs and taxes, I decided to fix it myself by applying a plastic polish. Not perfect, but sufficient. Something to keep in mind for your future production.
