Ember Mug 3

I am a long-time Ember user. I opted for the new Ember 3 and love all of its improvements. My only criticism is that I wish I knew you were releasing a 16 oz version. I would have preferred it. I can’t justify buying another one as I have two perfectly good Ember 2s and the new Ember 3. The next thing I want Ember to work on is keeping a skin from forming on my coffee with half and half. The lid helps but does not eliminate it. Keep up the good work.

It accomplishes the purpose of keeping my tea warm, long enough to drink. I am not sure what would possess the company to put a power button on the bottom of a drinking cup. The button is also very stiff so to make any temperature changes during a cup you obviously risk spilling or splashing on your lap. The gasket around the lid of the cup is not airtight so it constantly drips every time you take a drink down your chin. I will enjoy the cup, but probably not buy another one unless they make some improvements.

I love the new colors and love my mug but I will say that the update from the Ember Mug 2 isn’t really worth the upgrade. I don’t want to use a cover and so I don’t really notice much of a difference in battery life and the settings you can utilize on the outside of the mug are finicky (tough to navigate with a full mug) and I just set it on the app once and forget about it. It’s basically the same as the 2nd version in my opinion.
