Sliding Lid: Ember Mug 2

It helps prevent spills and seals well. However when I take a sip seems hot coffee hits my upper lip which is a bit uncomfortable and different than just drinking from cup without lid. Not sure it’s my way of drinking or the opening has something to do with the effect. Thank you for your support

I returned lid for the correct size and haven't received a replacement.

At times, lid does not stay sealed on. Pressing it down, it pops right back up. Randomly, it'll stay.
