Rice Cooker

Love it

This little guy is awesome. As someone who enjoys rice, This makes the best rice. Compared to other rice pots in the past, we've never had a wet pot of rice that holds well, and is as fluffy as can be. I highly recommend!

Not as great for cooking rice as expected

This is a very nice looking rice cooker, but be aware that are some flaws. Firstly, the advertised capacity of 6 cups of cooked rice is deceiving. You can only cook 2 cups of uncooked rice, so the capacity was small than I expected. Secondly, the lines for how much water to put in for the brown vs white rice is VERY inaccurate. We’ve made at least 10 batches of rice now and are still trying to figure out the amount of water to use. If you follow the lines, the rice comes out way too dry (crunchy!). If you follow the package instructions of 1:2 ratio rice:water, it’s way too much water. The ideal amount of water is somewhere in between, which makes it difficult to consistently use the proper amount of water. It’s nice to have the delayed cooking feature and other features such as oatmeal, but overall, I am disappointed in the product as a rice cooker marketed to “cook the perfect rice,” especially for the price point.

Beautiful and Consistent

The rice cooker works like a charm, the keep warm function comes in handy, and Our Place products are always worth having on the counter when cabinet space is limited.
